Objects, photos, and archives bring our world to life and can spark treasured or long-forgotten memories. The Maritime Museum of BC cares for a collection of 35,000 artifacts, 15,000 photos, and 170 linear metres of archives. Maritime Memories brings selected objects and archives beyond the museum walls for participants to explore and discuss. Join our program leaders for an interactive experience centered on conversation, reminiscence, questions, and shared stories inspired by objects, photos, and archives from the museum’s collection.
Guided Program
From the comfort of your own space, our facilitators lead the program’s discussions, guiding participants as they explore archives, photos, and artefacts and participate in meaningful conversation and reminiscence.
- $200 for up to 20 participants
- 50% off for same-day subsequent bookings
- Facilitator brings all materials, including a portable microphone and speaker.
- Needed for set up - 6 ft. table, chair set in a circle or U-shape.
